OK, If I'm starving and there is no Taco Bell at the Interstate off ramp and I HAD to choose from those three Gawd-awful burger eateries.

Mac is out because their burgers are pre-cooked and come out of warmers.

BK or Wendys serves a burger fresh. Usually.

I'm a Sonic junkie. Their HQ is here in Oklahoma City. They started out in the small town I am from so I have been eating at Sonic for a lot longer than I care to admit. But I never get tired of it.

BTW, want to know how they make those great cherry limeades? Sprite, lime juice, and cherry syrup. Just use diet sprite for the diet limeades.

Oh, and the poll. McD's has decent salads. Not wonderful, but decent.

Used to be Wendy's, then they jacked up their prices & took off the jr bacon cheeseburger from the $.99 menu. Their Spicy Chicken Sandwich is still unbeatable. I get a # 6 with no mayo & a side ceasar salad every time!

Recently, I've developed a liking for McDonalds. Their fries & regular cheeseburgers are easily the best.

    BK is the best.
But - before the storm - Port of Call in New Orleans by far the best.

Classic triple with cheese from Wendy's is my favorite burger out of these 3 choices.

If I have to eat at Macs, I usually get the fish sandwich (hold the cheese). It's really hard to screw up just frying a slab O fish and putting Tartar sauce on it.

Who eats cheese on fish anyway?

yunno i mentioned earlier that at wendy's they let you do a free sub of a ceasar salad, ordinary side salad, chili, or baked potater for fries in the value meals. that is awesome.

but also yunno what i think would be great is if the other places started offering a couple more options. burger king is cool because you can get onion rings instead of fries. the onion rings arent very good, but at least the option is there. what i would like to see is more places doing like sonic and offering tater tots.

i realize that fries are enormously profitalble. they probably cost a third of a cent for a 50 pound sack. i wonder how wendy's is able to stomach what i can only guess must be a huge profit hit on value meals w/o fries.

maybe wendy's is more expensive. i never really pay attention. everything everywhere seems to be somewhere between 5 and 8 dollars.

While Sonic is my fav, I do like McD's Happy Meals. But half the time, the toys are lame.

I'll have to go with Wendy's. If I've got a serious craving for some artery-clogging fun, I'll go with McDonald's. As for fast-food burgers, I defintely think Backyard Burger has the best. I'm really not a huge fan of Whataburger. Eaten there a couple times, wasn't too impressed with the quality of the food. Then again, when it comes to fast food, quality isn't really a factor.
