1. i watched the game... Taz looked good the few times he touched the ball. hard to score when the guards are constantly firing it up, but hey... its for fun.

until last night i had never seen Taz before, and i must say he is larger than i expected. he almost has more the look of a 4 instead of a 3.

our frontcourt should be SOLID next year!

  2. what is the web site that tells you the stats of the game???
  3. Actually, Tas' had six points, a few rebounds, a dive on the floor for a loose ball, and one missed front end of a one and one. He did seem to get less attention b/c there were others that got the ball more, but I did notice the hustle, blocking out on rebounds and the little things.

He looked good, though, and surprised me, because he looked leaner and quicker on the perimeter than I expected. The kid's been playing PF/C for Denham Springs b/c he's 6-7, and I had concerns with him making the transition to SF on LSU's team. He should do well with Bass and Davis and should play more consistent D and hit the boards harder than Hud. He doesn't have Hud's three pointer, but does appear to have a decent stroke on his outside shot--he just has more of a midrange jumper vs. a long range jumper.

  4. thanks, i was not home so i couldn't watch it. glad to hear these things. I think the fact that he has more of a midrange v. long range, and is diff. from Hud in that aspect, is good b/c if he can be consisten at the midrange, he'll be good. Hud was VERY streaky

    LSU!
