You might have gotten some Democratic votes to save your hide if you hadn't started this absurd "impeachment inquiry" without a vote. And if you hadn't sought to spare trump from punishment for January 6. Has there been a shorter term for a Speaker of the House?
He would still be Speaker if he had kept his promises to his base instead of being a swamp rat RINO. I am all with Gaetz. Screw Mark Levin and Ben Shapiro and the like. We hear "not now, don't do this now, we could have had 8%" when we know damned well that 8% would never have even hit Biden's desk. McCarthy should have kept his word and had votes on individual spending bills and should have started on this months ago. Hell, McCarthy sat on one that the Appropriations committee had gotten through months ago. They wanted the shutdown crisis because they don't want lower spending. They are RINOs that are bought out by big donors and only care about their power. Now we have another 45 days of massive spending and open borders.
Oh, and this was all about Ukraine funding. They will never get to the bottom of the cesspool that is Ukraine because it implicates all of them. The swamp members are guilty of either directly profiting from the kinds of shady deals that Biden was so incredibly careless about (McConnell, Romney, etc...), or they were guilty of the cover ups to hide those involved in the shady deals.
That's obviously not true, because the continuing resolution McCarthy and the Dems and many Republicans agreed to dropped Ukraine funding, and the MAGA terrorists wouldn't go along, anyway. It's not surprising that MAGAts want Russia to obliterate Ukraine because you're all Putin lovers and want trump to be his state-side copycat. The objection to stop helping Ukraine because of some alleged Biden corruption is nothing more than a ruse. The true concern is that the USA is standing in the way of a fascist, the type you want here. Despite months and months and months of trying to implicate Joe Biden in corruption there's still not an ounce of credible evidence that he did anything wrong there. trump, on the other hand, has publicly kissed Putin's ass.
Case 1: He would still be Speaker if he had kissed MAGA ass, but our government would now be shut down. A sure way for Republicans to lose their House majority, and even the dumbass McCarthy was smart enough to realize that. He would be Speaker only until the next election. Case 2: He would still be Speaker if he hadn't gone on CBS immediately after the CR vote and blamed Democrats for almost shutting down the government, when it was obvious that it was hardcore MAGAts who wouldn't agree to funding the government. That pissed off ALL the Democrats, some of whom were previously disposed to vote for keeping McCarthy as Speaker. The video of his interview was played at the Dem caucus before the Speaker vote, where they then unanimously decided to toss that snake off his chair.
Well, McCarthy actually had a secret agreement with the Senate to have that funding put in there in their version of it. The Dems didn't know about it so they pulled the fire alarm so that the Senate would finish their vote first so the Ukranian funding would be in there. They didn't need to pull the alarm, the snake already had it covered. And with this response, I am now finally convinced that you are not real. You are a fun diversion handle that one of the real right wing posters created in order to give people on this board someone to argue with. You jumped the shark. This response is over the top stupid.
