Equating party affiliation to bigotry is silly. You can slice this a hundred ways. For instance, effectively all blacks vote democrat, and O'Bama will drag over 90% of the black vote. So are dems racist?

    Standard boilerplate BS.

She has even less experience than Obama and could be a hard sell for someone that could end up president. But its going to take some attention off of McCain's clumsiness on certain issues. I don't think it's going to get him much of the youth vote or the democratic women's vote but it may get him the republican women and moderate republicans that he also needs.

Who said anything about bigotry? I just point out that the democrats ran a woman for VP 25 years ago and one for president this year, they have a woman as Speaker of the House and Louisiana has a woman democratic senator and a recent woman democratic governor. Republican women haven't seemed to break the glass ceiling yet. This is an unusually high aspiration for a woman republican.

Less experience? Obama has zero executive experience and I'm pretty sure they are running for an executive slot. When the dems go after her they will piss off even more Hillary and blue collar voters.

The very people Obama wants &needs.

She has 3 years in her state's executive office. Obama has barely 1 year in the Senate. He's never been in the "bucks stops here" chair. Palin's experience is not overwhelming, but it exceeds Obama's.
