absolutely. i dont think anyone is bagging the girl (or her mom) for the decision to have the child

then you are living under a rock.

    im not smearing any child.

    what does it say?

im not christian. how is it hypocritical?

i thought conservatives dont like political correctness. the way i phrased it was accurate. i didnt guess anything.

wait, wait, dont tell me you are sorry for the girl. ok, maybe just for all the publicity this thing is getting, but no way for her "condition". that would be very un-republican of you.

In an earlier thread where I stated that I have no empathy for those down on their luck you told me that I was not a Christian and was going to hell. See you there.

I'm not the one claiming only extremists are slamming her daughter. Own your statements.

No, you have stated that smearing her daughter is justified and should be done so for voters to consider. The four candidates running for office disagree.

Oh gee, I don't know. But I'm sure your children will figure it out one day.

lets see, you said media were slamming her daughter. i asked who, where? you own your own statement.

never wrote that. there is no smearing to do. the daughter is running for office. what do you think i am doing? spreading rumors about her among the high school football team?

i said that its not wrong to consider this in deciding who to vote for. thats not smearing or slamming.

again, i have heard media state that the daughter is pregnant. i have heard media ask others (politicians mostly) how this will affect the race and question how thorough mccain was in the vetting. please, cite a respected media source that said palin shouldnt be VP because her daughter is pregnant (hollywood insider doesnt count).

i find this all a bit humorous and ironic. the party of social conservatives is practically embracing this, wearing it as a badge of honor. while the meat of the party constituency would eviscerate these same people if they were not republicans.

and the fact that the GOP has to show off the fact that cindy mccain made her millions from beer. i love it. pat robertson has got to be hoppin mad.

    stay classy, dude:thumb:

Total waste of time. You must be the last person on the planet that thinks that. Look it up yourself if you like, deny it if you like, or demand a link if you like. I could care less. It has been so widespread it's laughable.

You are the only one here, including your own candidates that think her daughter's pregnancy is relevant to the election. Own it.

Again, everyone including your own candidate disagrees. I am glad you think it is relevant.

Just as the liberal media do. But your candidate doesn't. Interesting...

I always do. You can keep championing teen pregnancy as a benchmark for candidates. Your candidate disagrees and has shown real class about it. Further illustrating that Obama is actually a very classy guy.

I imagine if Obama's unwed teenage daughter were pregnant, McCain wouldn't touch it but many Republicans would. I've heard he'll be sworn in on the Koran and other such baseless, terrible things. The media is sickening for the most part, but it is across party lines and nothing new.

No, I actually believe that the Republicans would run with a story like that. And it's unfortunate--because it's still none of their business, but they made much of Al Gore's son's traffic arrests before the '04 election.

I still wish that families were off-limits.
