    Sounds pretty good. Can you post the recipe? They are probably a lot better than the Hungry Jack biscuits I usually eat. There won't be a recipe on the web if Google didn't find any reference to the meaning of gollet that you mentioned

    i don't know what that is but if they call it a gollet I would be willing to bed the gollet bread has been around a lot longer than whatever that is.

    To make a batch of about a dozen:
    Take bout 3 cups self rising flower and maybe a half a cup of oil and a cup of milk like you gonna make biscuits but a little thicker than biscuits. Roll it out and pat out small bout palm sized pieces. Put in a well greased skillet on real low heat and kinda pat it down a little. Let it brown on one side and flip it and add a cap full of oil around em by kinda drizzling around each one when you flip em. Brown that side and eat it. Real easy and real good.
