Max Johnson enters transfer portal

I wonder if he's doing it on his own or if Brian "suggested" he do it.

One potential problem of having players with high profile former athletes/coaches as parents is what happened with Nussemier. NO parent at the college level should have any say so on when or where their kid plays. I'm not sure how it all went down, but you have to figure Johnson's camp wasn't sold on his position with Kelly in charge? Potential bad advice for Johnson. He's tough, but he's not great. I am all for letting any of these kids jump off the Kelly train. BK will replace them with recruits or another transfer kid and LSU will move on. You want to be a Tiger or you don't is how I see it

I think that's going to be a tough call for Nuss unless Brian is willing to write off the bowl game.
