I'll admit to watching, but I still refuse to get emotionally involved. I expected the Rams to score the go ahead points when they got the ball late. I did not expect the Saints to answer. I must admit that I was happy to see them pull it out. And I love to see Martz lose. He's got a smug attitude (a la Tubby) that just pisses me off. Typical Saints would be to lose to the Cards next week. I'll be watching out of the corner of my eye. :wink:
I have to blame Rick Venturi. HOW, after having success all game with rushing the passer (5 sacks) do you lapse into the prevent defense and allow them to hit everything up and down the field? You cannot allow an NFL quarterback so much time to throw, he will find somebody open.
