Red always backs up his points. I think when it comes to media bias discussions most people are talking about mainstream news media. Mainly newspapers and TV networks. Throwing books and movies into the argument is a stretch.
I agree. MOST of the media is biased. Wash Post admits Obama bias Data Points: Media Coverage of Barack Obama and John McCain - US ... We all know MOST of the media wanted Hussein as President. They're wish was granted.
Matthews is an interviewer. He brings guests into his studio, and it is assumed they will be interviewed objectively. His views, however, are always easy to see. Limbaugh rarely has guests on his show. The content is his viewpoint, and there is never any pretense of objectivity. Unlike Matthews. "Double standard"? Never get that from the left, do we?:nope:
Translation: I'd rather make up facts and try to discredit Red than do research to actually back them up. And you keep missing the obvious . . . I never said there was no liberal biases, only that there are also conservative biases and some media is fairly balanced and objective.
It wasn't when everyone was hammering on Michael Moore's film a few years ago or "W" this year. And if you are talking media, you simply can't ignore the talk radio networks which are overwhelmingly conservative and pervasive in America.
Come on, he's not Larry King or Matt Lauer. Hardball is not a news show or a celebrity interview show, it is a political opinion talk show and Matthews is the editorialist, just as O'Reilly is on his show. From Wikipedia:
I've learned from this thread what I've always known... FOX News is fair & balanced. Everyone else was in the tank for Obama.
MRC is run by Brent Boswell, who I've seen on Fox News hundreds of times. He's just to the right of Limbaugh.
