Over on their board I have posted and never gotten anything but snobbish arrogance toward our program. All they do is trundle out those 7 previous nc's and 4 Heisman winners and act like they have never had a losing season and we have never had a winning one. As if our entire athletic program belongs in 1-AA. In my posts, I've always tried to be respectful of OU and their players and coaches except maybe for some good natured banter but all I get are insults and putdowns and talked to like we are some kind of skid row 2nd class citizens. Speak for yourself Mike! You can believe that Sooner fans act "as if our (LSU) entire program belongs in 1-AA," but that is not true. Quite honestly, I have never thought about LSU's football program until this year but that isn't out of disrespect, OU simply hasn't had LSU on their schedule before now. That's Josey Wales, my friend. What does quoting history have to do with respecting LSU?!? If we think winning 7 NCs has anything to do with this game then we can certainly believe as much! I think winning in 2000 does have some bearing on this game because it is the same coaching staff and some of the same players. Experience is worth something, even if you don't care to admit it! I don't envision any team that makes it to the National Title game is going to roll over because their team lost in 1949! I am not sure where you get your information but they are either jerking your chain or making a fool of themselves. But don't take a couple of fan's statements and blanket the entire Sooner Nation with them! What, you don't like my T-Bone comment? That was disrespectful? Okay, I apologize and take it back. Mauck has never made a mistake, "at least Mauck has the BRAINS to take a sack." LSU's D will dominate the entire game? I guess you are certainly entitled to your opinion.
