Yes, OU is playing LSU and not FSU this year. But, the outcome will be the same. LSU will come out with a T-Bone around their necks and the Sooners will be there to tear 'em off. It isn't a matter of "living in the past", it's much like stocks, past performance doesn't necessarily translate to future success but Stoops has proven he is the Microsoft of college football. No, I am not predicting a melt-down by Mauck, I am just predicting they will not be able to score in double digits. I think the Sooner offense is better than the LSU offense. I think the Sooner defense is better than the LSU defense. These diferences may not be by much but if OU shows up to play thier best then the outcome is already determined. Stoops has, historically, had his teams ready to play top 10 teams, and has won the National Title before. Take care, Boomer Sooner!!
OU is dreaming if they think thier Defense is better than ours. How many points have we given up in 1 game all year??? How many points did OU give up in 1 game. (Kansas State) ENOUGH SAID Who could compare the 2 teams in yardage as well.
I take it that you'll come back here and take your lumps when none of what you say comes to pass...right?
No, I will not be back, I will be too busy celebrating #8!! Bob is holding his press conference right now and heaping praise on LSU, Chad, and Mauck. All of it is rightfully earned. Take care, Boomer Sooner!!
Yup ... another scared little junkyard dawg ... he won't be back here after the game ... we're still looking for OBTRUDER ... lol. Denial is wonderful thing ... just like that KSU massacre ... let 'em deny the KSU massacre and believe everything is just fine in OKLAhomer & shine their trophies ... it's gonna be fun. Gents, if you haven't watched the OU/KSU game ... get a copy and watch what real pressure does to Bullseye White
If I was a Sooner, I'd be real worried about this game, especially since they want to compare it to the game with FSU. In that game, FSU came in the #1 team, Ou #2 This year ou#1, LSU #2. FSU was the high powered team, blowing everybody out. This year, it's OU. Nobody gave OU a chance in that game, nobody is giving LSU a chance in this one. Ou started out ranked #20 that year, LSU started out #14 this year, lower in some polls. Ou was a team of destiny that year. Looks like LSU might be destinys darling this year. similarities, similarities, similarities. GEAUX TIGERS!!!!
It's obvious that the dose of humility that KSU rammed down your throats has worn off rather quickly. Good. The cockier the better.
The so-called Experts on the OU forums know OU won't run on LSU ... They're over there talking ... "SURPRISES" to be used against the LSU Dee. Some projected Offensive "SURPRISES" to be used by Stoops (not kidding): 1. OU to run the Option & substitute the QB. Hmmmmmm! 2. Use the TE in "spot" pass routes like in the Texas Tech game ... not a bad idea. 3. Employ reverses, gadget plays and even double passes ... as if the time will exist for these plays to develop. On Defense ... OU is worried Mauck could shred their zone coverage with a ton of completions ... hey, OU's last 2 opponents did just that ... Texas Tech without a great running game, KSU with Sproles
