I personally think Brooks and O'Sullivan are good #1 and #3. I don't trust Bouman though. If something were to happen to Brooks I think I'd cry.
QB ranking Technically untrue. They = Kiper has him ranked as the 3rd highest junior behind Ben R from Miami and Walters from ASU. But you'll see some juniors come out next year too.. Leinert almost certainly plus some others I bet. And plus it's only Kiper's opinion. I think Mauck will try the draft.. if he makes it pro great, if he doesn't he's going to dental school. I think he has to look at the age problem too.. pro teams aren't necessarily going to want to look at him as a project, he'll be what 26 this year.. stay in school another year and you've basically got a 27-year-old rookie with maybe 8 years of pro ball in him.
Brooks - biggest obvious problem is that he can't hold on to the football. But I don't see the Saints winning anything w/ him at QB for more intangible reasons...lack of leadership skills first and foremost. O'Sullivan - not sure how you can make a judgement call, since nobody has really seen what he can or can't do. That's why I ask what he's got that Matt Mauck couldn't possibly have?
You guys must hate Russell then because everything I've seen read and heard about him he seems to be a near clone of Aaron Brooks.
