Those genes are hard to overcome ... lotsa self-destructive tendencies there! Hope these two instances of nonsense (spice, photos) are the last!
I can't imagine what it must have been like to go through that. Glad he could get away from that and wish him the best throughout life.
Love this story. It's a pretty heart-wrenching read. I really feel for the children that have to endure this sort of upbringing. Most of them aren't as fortunate to have such a supportive extended family like he was. Their stories don't have happy endings. But what was this stuff about the naked photos of him that surfaced on the internet? That's the first I've heard of it, which I find hard to believe.
