When the Second Amendment was written guns could fire one shot at a time. Nobody then envisioned a country where one man alone could kill 59 people and injure 540 others in ten minutes.

Strip the Second Amendment? No. The Second Amendment doesn't say that we have to accept any types of guns no matter what, as they're invented, in the hands of citizens.

 

There was no limit placed on gun ownership in the constitution. And has been pointed out shitloads of times to you. It isn't the dope on the weapon its the dope behind it that needs to be controlled.
