I like flavored ones. The Watermelon ones from Outback are good. Sour Apple ones just about anywhere and Chocolate Martinis too!

True, if you take it in one of those long-stemmed martini glasses that slosh gin all over the place. I usually order a double so they put it into a regular cocktail glass. Then it's like any other drink that a man can walk around with without spilling it on the friggin' floor.

Actually by definition, a martini is made with Gin. "Purists" refer to the other drink as a "vodkatini" . Whatever. I like mine with gin, clean and hint of vermouth and garlic stuffed olives. I freeze everthing (gin, glass and shaker) except for the vermouth and olives. The colder the better. Especially good before a nice grilled ribeye ! A big Calif. cab with the meal followed by Cognac.

Like someone with gall bladder problems threw up some bile, chilled it, and added olives. :hihi:

I like vodka, prefer Belvedere Vodka kept in the freezer. I put a dash of vermouth in the glass and put it in the freezer for a while and like a jumbo green olive stuffed with blue cheese. It's pretty much straight vodka with a blue cheese stuffed olive. I also like pearl onions in my vodkatini. The colder the better.

Gin, though I would take Whiskey over Gin any day of the week.

That long stemmed martini glass that you refer to is known as a Hawkeye.

And yes, there is no way to carry it around or drink out of it without
appearing to be a little light in the loafers...:hihi:

No heterosexual man should ever be caught sipping a martini. Unless, of course that man's name is Bond, James Bond.
