And Bennett is a lean towards A&M...putting two and two together (and maybe getting five), is this kid going to be an AGGIE? If RP chooses Texas, LSU fans will pound their fists on the table and then move on. If he chooses Texas A&M out of the blue, someone is liable to drive to Reserve and kick his ass on his front lawn.... I said Bennett was a done deal because my buddy told me he was not going to UT - I took this to mean he was LSU bound. This UT / LSU arms race for these last few kids made me totally forget about A&M. I called him back and he verified - Bennett to A&M.
If Bennet goes to aTm, that only bodes well for us. They wanted to play together...but it's doubtful MB would go to LSU just for Ryan, and doubtful Ryan would go to aTm just for Bennett. If MB is an aggie, then one of the things pulling Ryan in the general direction of Austin is removed.
