His last game was against Vanderbilt. http://www.lsusports.net/src/data/l...dgbg.htm?SPSID=27813&SPID=2164&DB_OEM_ID=5200
I believe it was the Miss. State game he missed for a family funeral. I guess the staff has decided since he's a senior and they have younger players just as good to go with the youth movement. Just kind of suprises me that he hasn't even been in on special teams. The cynic sports guy in me makes me wonder if the whole "family funeral" deal was on the up and up Or after the Tenn. game he was so distraught that he left the team, then came back and was disciplined for the State game and has been riding the pine ever since.
Ordinarily I would dismiss such conspiracy theories, but you've really got to wonder. This guy was all-world out of the JUCO ranks, and was supposed to be in the running for the starting slot w/ Jackson. Now he just disappears? I dunno...hope everything's alright with him (whether personal or health related.)
Normally I'm not the Oliver Stone conspiracy theorist either, but this just reeks of something. Like you said, Stevenson was all-world out of JUCO and was very instrumental in the win over Arizona State. Then after that Tennessee debacle, he's missing in action. Definitely makes you wonder.
