No. If you come to work drunk you should also be fired. The long-term effects are similar between the two drugs and as I said, IMO it should be legalized. Problem is THC stays in your system for much much longer than ethanol, which is metabolized very quickly... to the proportion in which it was consumed. The workplaces would never be able to test for alcohol consumption as efficiently.
Benefits of smoking pot: 1. You can be content doing anything . . . unfortunately including doing nothing at all. Dangers of smoking pot: 1. You could be arrested. Remember, you can smoke hash and you can smoke beef . . . but you can't smoke corned beef hash. -- The Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers
Honestly, what is your opinion on it? I remember you talking about your son having used drugs. So I would think you would be against marijuana... Is that right?
Sure. The black market in pot would collapse and a whole class of criminals would disappear. Prices would drop on legal marajuana and quality would improve. The brand names "Acapulco Gold" and "Maui Wowie" were trademarked decades ago, just in case. Alcohol comsumption would decrease as would traffic accidents. People would spark up before football games, wear berets, snap their fingers, and say , "Like . . . hold that line, Daddy-O".
Ditto...You wont hallucinate from weed, unless it is laced. Personally, I have no problem with it. I've done it before but choose not to do it because smoking is not my thing. I dont like to stink... Now if you made some magical brownies though.....:thumb:
