Now there's a new statistical category... teams that wanted to be there. (tears)

btw... about the SEC being 37-44 against other BCS league teams (incl ND)... the Big Ten is 50-44 during the same four years... which begs the question... why does the SEC play so few BCS league opponents. We played 13 more games with 11 teams instead of 12. Odd.

The Big 12 is 37-33 and the Pac 10 is 29-37.

Again, I'm not saying the SEC isn't an outstanding conference. I'm just saying there's not much proof to declare some kind of dominance. This "we're the best by far" stuff needs to be back up with something... and how many players get drafted to the pros is pretty weak. What happened in college is a tad more convincing.

This is all that needs to be said...Did you see the score of the Big 12 Chumpionship game?

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to tirk again.

listen douchebag, I figured you were smart enough to understand the significance of what I was implying. Obviously i meant major bowls as opposed to bowls where a team just may not care.

ya know, like Michigan losing to a terrible nebraska team?

I guess if you want to continue to split hairs so you can keep preaching your parity parody, I'm all for it since i pretty much agree.

however, if you dont think there's any validity to my point thats fine too since your hellbent on validating your big 10 worth. its quite clear to see ones sensitivity to a matter when they are always laughing in their replies.

relax homie, you've always been a good contributor here. dont let your gay pride for your conference ruin all that.

    Okie dokie then.

I still think your statistical category is too funny, but to show the respect you desire, I'll chuckle quietly.

(and I wasn't the one claiming some kind of conference superiority)

I should have known you'd take that route. I almost corrected it and put major bowls before i posted it.

once again, I gave you too much credit. i guess that big 10 inferiority complex eventually shines through at some point.

I knew you'd take that route... I hardly have a Big Ten Inferiority complex, just can find no facts that would support some of the claims made on here.. and that's pretty much it in a nutshell.

btw, you guys are 9-7 in bowl games played on Jan 1 or later.
    Au 3-1, Geo 3-1, Fl 1-2, LSU 1-2, Tenn 1-1.
The Big Ten is 8-8... too tired to look up the other conferences. Congrats on 9-7, using your criteria.

I hope not. You would be a complete moron if you thought that it was anything BUT a great conference :hihi:
