Looks like Urban Meyer's offense versus Nick Saban's defense coming up in a couple of years.

    Should be fun.

maybe they should play Nebraska each year til both qualify for another bowl game.

It could be called the Myopia Bowl and each team with its usual 5-6 record would be forcedto play until each team completes 2 forward passes for TDs.

Can you guys believe that Notre Dame hasn't won a bolw game sincve like 1993, heck they should have kept their self imposed bowl ban. My how times can change in college football.

Notre Dame would be foolish to even consider taking Mack Brown. I highly doubt he will be a candidate for the job.

Actually that was a pretty big compliment and shows how highly those that hire and fire big time coaches feel about Sabans ability. I hope he and his family really do like it here and prefer the college game because I'd like to see what is possible should he stay ten years.

ND is the one college job I have always been nervous about Saban leaving LSU for. It's real close to his neck of the woods, he is familiar with recruiting in the midwest, and what coach would be better suited to bring ND back to national prominence than Nick Saban. His name even has the right ring to it....legendary ND coach Nick Saban. This is just something out of my closet of anxieties.

Having said that, I don't think he would actually accept the job. If or when he leaves LSU it will be for the NFL job of his choosing.
