Ramah, call Urban Meyer... he's got a VOS (vertical offensive system) for sale on e-bay... says it's idiot proof.

    Good one, ramah. :hihi:

I think maybe ramah misses the domination that the 03 team had and is guessing a vertical focus would improve things.

Maybe it's just me, but if I had the SEC's leading rushing attack returning nearly intact, I'd prolly stick with what has worked well in the past. Jimbo's problem isn't conservatism, strategy, or gameplanning ...... it's incosistent execution on offense and a lack of discipline on defense. The defense has the same "toughness," but the discipline has been lacking.

JR has not lived up to the expectations, the receivers are speedy but execute poor downfield blocks, and it seems the LSU offense has struggled with poor field position all season long.

This team lacks the swagger of the Saban-era, especially defensively. No way a Saban team gives up two bones to a single running back .... ever. I wonder if Ron Dane ever threw up two-hundy on MSU when Saban was there?

I still believe Auburn is the better team in the West, but we had our chance to prove it and didn't. LSU deserves to go to the SECC, but if Miles fails to better prepare this team's discipline before the stretch-run, there could easily be some disappointment ahead.

If JR isn't connecting with opposing DB's then our WR's our all thumbs. During the next two games I predict we'll see some offense after we go up a few TD's, imho.

MORE verbal masturbation from a wanna be man who promised he would not be back this season. Having a hard time keeping your word eh ramit. You and scrappy have quite a bit in common, starting with that goo on your chin.

    RAMAH IS "REALITY CHALLENGED"

Russell leads the SEC with a 62.5% completion rate. You are full of chit. proof

Russell has thrown fewer interceptions (5) than most SEC starting quarterbackss. Only Shockley and Croyle have thrown fewer (4). You are full of chit. proof

There are no "all-world" receivers, Einstein, and LSU doesn't even have any All-Americans yet. LSU could have worse problems than having six receivers capable of starting in the SEC, but we can only start two, obviously. Nevertheless, LSU has five receivers in the SEC top-50 . . . more than any other school. We are spreading it around. Only Doucet is not getting the ball much, somebody has to be last. You are full of chit. proof

Give me an example. LSU has demonstrated a balanced offense this year with all of the variety we have come to expect from Jimbo. Jimbo's defense is effective and diverse. You are calling for it to become a one-dimensional long-ball attack like Arizona State, who passed themselves right out of the top-25. LSU has the #2 scoring offense in the SEC. proof.

You are full of chit, sir.

AGAIN It all starts where RAMAH at QUARTERBACK LSU had to change after Mauck left why ?? I know you know the answer Russell is more of a throw it up and you catch it than a qb who can pick a defense apart , I like him at qb he is fun to watch!! We have a simple offense with him that is all we can have . the Mannings can and do pick a defense apart it is the difference in the players nothing wrong with either we have the kind of QB we all want

I sure wish you understood the concept of punctuation.

Russell has been very smart this season and gets better with every game. He isn't throwing stupid interceptions, he isn't forcing the ball, he knows when to throw it away, he's put touch on it when needed & he's been great at the scrambles for touchdowns. In fact, my only complaint is that JR's aim is off. He throws low & behind receivers much of the time. This is something I hope we can get corrected. His game intelligence will continue to get better & I don't worry about it too much.

For Ramah, first you said you would never come back to TF until LSU fired Miles. Then when you returned anyway, you said Miles had to keep us in the SEC Championship & National Championship picture or we should revolt. Now that he's done that, you say that he not only has to do it, but has to do it your way, or we should revolt. Get over yourself.

"bombardment & criticism every wednesday night until we see the 'magic'" will only make you look stupid. We are winning. Who are you to say that's not enough & we require "magic"? Dinardo brought back the magic - were you happy then?

I have a problem with your assertion that the coaching staff somehow lied to us by not opening up the offense. They have opened up the offense from last season. We look 10 times better on offense now than we did last season. Early in the season our problem was penalties & turnovers (not to mention dropped passes). Our avg score would be 10 pts higher if we hadn't constantly shot ourselves in the foot. Currently, we're down to our 3rd string running back.

LSU has beaten Ole Miss by a combined 7 pts the past 3 years under Saban, including our magical 03 season. Yet you think we should harass Miles if we don't win by 20. That's crazy.
