Time to update my projections: QB - Done RB(0/1) - Richardson (25%), Michael (15%), Lacy (5%), Hardy (5%) FB(0/1) - Allen (75%), Singleton (15 %), Opurum (10%) WR(1/2) - Randle (95%), Debose (65%), Brown (15%), Kelly (10%), Appleton (10%), McNeal (10%), Evans (5%) TE(0/1) - Charles (15%) OL(1) - Su’a-Filo (55%), Nixon (15%), Hall (15%), Martinez (5%) ATH(0/1) - Claiborne (25%) DL(1/2) - McFarland (55%), Dye (45%), Stinson (20%), Sentimore (15%), Montgomery (15%), Campbell (10%), Coleman (5%), Drummond (5%) LB(1/2) - Mingo (95%), JJones (40%), Bostic (30%), Stewart (15 %), Barrow (10%), TJones (5%), Telfort (5%), Jenkins (5%) S(1/2) - Loston (95%), Holloman (25%), Armstrong (25%), Myles (20%), Scott (15%), Johns (10%), Webster (5%), Brent (5%) DB(0/1) - Lynn (10%), Smith (10%), Carter (5%) In order of importance for LSU (those listed with at least 25% chance): 1) Randle 2) Loston 3) McFarland 4) Richardson 5) JJones 6) Debose 7) Su-a-Filo 8) Bostic 9) Mingo 10) Dye 11) Allen 12) Holloman 13) Armstrong 14) Claiborne
I can see us finishing with Randle, Loston, DeBose, Su'a-Filo, Mingo, Morris Claiborne, Ed Stinson and Jonathan Stewart..possibly Josh Johns too if we take another safety Maybe Jarvis Jones..but that's a big maybe. I think we've got a legit shot at him but I can't shake the feeling that we don't get him.
Considering the subpar LB play this year at LSU Id consider J Jones #3 on the list. We need big time LB play. Riley and Cutrera lack the elite speed, while Sheppard has good speed but lack the angles.
Don't forget about Ryan Baker. This guy is speedy and has been making plays all over the field on special teams. I think he can be something special, especially if he adds a few pounds.
I agree, Baker will be a great one but I think he is more suited to the outside. He doesnt have the ideal size to play inside. Baker and Sheppard on the outside with Riley in the middle.
