That's just crazy good. It's a list like that (and the fact that it's completely realistic) that demonstrates LSU's step up into elite status. It's gonna be a fun ride...

Completely agree with that. Just reading the article though implies that he is looking at all options, and is not a lock for us just yet.

    Time to update my projections:

    QB - Done
    RB(0/1) - Michael (50%), Richardson (20%), Miller (10%), Lacy (5%), Hardy (5%)
    FB(0/1) - Opurum (10%), Allen (5%)
    WR(1/2) - Randle (95%), Debose (40%), Kelly (15%), Appleton (10%), McNeal (10%), Brown (10%), Evans (5%)
    TE(0/1) - Wilson (30%), Charles (20%)
    OL(1) - Su’a-Filo (50%), Nixon (15%), Hall (15%), Martinez (5%)
    ATH(0/1) - Claiborne (10%)

    DL(1/2) - McFarland (51%), Sentimore (50%), Dye (30%), Campbell (20%), Stinson (20%), Montgomery (15%), Coleman (5%), Drummond (5%)
    LB(1/2) - Mingo (95%), Bostic (50%), Williams (40%), JJones (25%), Barrow (10%), TJones (5%), Telfort (5%), Jenkins (5%)
    S(1/2) - Loston (95%), Brent (25%), Armstrong (20%), Myles (20%), Johns (10%), Scott (5%), Webster (5%)
    DB(0/1) - Lynn (30%), Smith (30%), Carter (5%)

In order of importance for LSU (those listed with at least 30% chance):

    1) Randle
    2) Loston
    3) McFarland
    4) Michael
    5) Debose
    6) Smith
    7) Su-a-Filo
    8) Bostic
    9) Sentimore
    10) Lynn
    11) Dye
    12) Mingo
    13) Williams
    14) Wilson

Note: If LSU finishes with this class and Benton qualifies and either of Faulk/Jackson/Ford get upgraded to a 5th star, not only will this be the best class of 2009, it will be the best class in recruiting history.

Pretty damn good list. I think Williams is our best shot at LB, then Bostic. Of course I disagree about Michael being so high on the list. I think in time he will be in this class but he isnt at all a priority to be that high IMO. He is a best available player with how stacked we are at that position. I think Sentimore is more important. He is a super talent and more importantly he is from Louisiana. I really hope he gets an offer. I also think we have a really good shot at Campbell. Overall I like the list, I just listed my disagreements. Id like a big time OL but I dont see any of them being a part of this class.

    Hey Isl,

Question for you. What's the reason with Sentimore only getting 50%? Do you feel that because of grades he won't get an offer?

yes (more so not getting an offer) because he doesn't fit the mold of a DE.

If you notice, my initial projection was for Williams. Williams wants to be a Tiger, I just don't know if we will offer him. We may not even offer him if Bostic goes elsewhere, although his chances for an offer would increase considerably.

I like Bostic better but I would be happy with either.

Thanks for the info. Only surprise to me on your list in Mingo at #12. I thought he'd rank higher in need and talent.
