I'd say that feeling is fairly unanimous - although evidently Logan did well. XSF has a lot of attention.
Like I was saying, whether his offer is committable is dependent on his & our other LB's true positions. Personally, I don't think it is.
Logan is a very good DE, and I don't think Sua-Filo is overrated. IMO, he's a take & we wait 2 years for him.
Wouldn't Benton also count in this class, assuming everything gets taken care of with his grades (admittedly a big assumption).
I heard that Sonny said we could possibly take 24 or 25 depending on grades, greyshirts, etc.. This would be more than anticipated by this board. Thoughts?
I changed my perdiction from 20-23 to 23-25 for that reason a few weeks back. Mainly because I think we are going to have some guys who are must takes try to commit toward NSD. The magic number is still 23.
Well, the JUCO punter will likely take one of our current player's spots & count towards last year & Duplessis will not count against this class' numbers, so we could get up to 25.
I think you have to add fullback to the list now as a possibility. On that subject the newspaper made it sound as if Steven Ridley played fullback in the scrimmage by mentioning him along with Quinn Johnson. I know there has been some back and forth whether he will be a tailback, fb, or some combination on this site. Miles remarked that he had 7 carries, but not many yards.
My updated projections: Mingo Randle Sentimore Loston Singleton Filo Wilson Others Possible: McFarland Debose Williams Michael
I either read or heard (interview) that Ridley put the ball on the ground, maybe twice. That would account for some of his lack of yardage... He looks lean in the pics, not at all like a FB. But, then again, Hester was pretty lean looking as well.
