:geaux::crystal::helmet: Hope your crystal ball is on target. That would be an awesome class, quite possibly the best ever at LSU! Not going to hold my breath on Richardson though. It would probably take a miracle, at the very least, for us to get him. Not feeling too good about McFarland either, although the news about OU's DC (Venables) and his asst. maybe going to Clemson may knock OU out of the running. Notice you don't have C. Michael on your list. Assume you feel we're done at RB, unless the miracle with Richardson happens. I'm pretty happy with Ford and Pratt. Also, see you have Benton so assume you feel he'll qualify. Awesome list and hope we get every one. Geaux Tigers! :geauxtige:champs::LSU231:
Offering to a fairly unheralded player this early suggests to me that Les already has a fairly good idea of who is coming on board and who is not. He can go ahead and exercise some of his options.
Yeah, I did forget about him. I will change my list as an either/or Dye/Stinson. I project Stinson to get his 4th star.
Agree that's what I've been thinking because he would've taken an offer from LSU Feb.1 if we wanted to wait that late.
Ask & you will receive I guess... Bang! Bang! - we got two commitments, guys I never heard of or are rated very highly. Mmmm, I guess I am glad but I sure would rather have Had Loston & Macfarland. What gives with these two guys? Are they second line guys - Taken because the 4-5 star recuits are falling thru?? Not complaining or griping just asking you guru guys what you think.. These guys were not on anyone's list on here that I have been reading about.
I think a JUCO D-lineman was probably in the works with all the loss at that position coming up. And trust me, Hicks is no slouch. As far as Claiborne, I believe he has to be considered the ever popular "must take". DB is not a position of great need, as we have a great one in Jackson and have Peterson for at least 2 more years (not to mention Brandon Taylor waiting in the wings). The one thing you must consider is that we may be looking at Calhoun on the offensive side of the ball.
There has been press on both on the recruiting services, just not here with the star gazers. Hicks is now rated a 4*, and Claiborne will be at least a 3* once rivals gets film on him. Supposedly did very well at LSU camp and has continued this season. These were both good pickups.
I have said this from the beginning, I think he will be given his shot on offense as soon as he steps onto campus. He also thinks this is what is going to happen as well based on one of his updates awhile back where he said Miles liked him in the slot.
