I figured he was going to Clemson with officially announcing tomorrow and Clemson had the last visit. Oh well
Has anyone seen any film on this guy because his measurables are not impressive? 6-3, 229 and a 4.9 40. With that weight it seems like he would only be able to play DE and Edwards and a few other of our recruits are projected at DE. It seems like DT would be needed more if we could get one. I know he is a 4 star, is he really that good?
He is listed on scout at a combine as weighing 229. His picture at the top of the page says 270 though.
Here is a summary of the last prospects we are hoping for: One more OL: McClain or Shaw. Sounds like there is too much competition for McClain and Shaw seems to be leaning our way. My guess is that Shaw commits before NSD and McClain goes elsewhere. Maybe one more DT: Liuget Some consider him to be a LSU lean and we would take him if he decides to commit. Maybe One RB: Hall, Dean, and Thomas Hall and Dean are pretty much out of the picture and the coaching staff likes Thomas the best. Will he pick LSU over FSU? Maybe one more WR: Brown Unlikely to qualify and either hitting the JUCO trail or USM. Assuming LB/S Barron stays with Bama, WR Benton doesnt count toward this class, and QB Pryor doesnt take a visit to LSU; then we will accept 3 more commits from Liuget, Shaw, and Thomas. If I am not mistaken we have 24 commits at this time and that means we would sign a total of 27. Does Benton sign his papers at NSD or after his grade issue is resolved? How accurate is this prediction?
