That's yet to be see, it will be two really good teams meeting. However let's hope that the duck players really do expect to go up against a small slow LSU D. They would definitely be in for a surprise.
 40 lbs. I'm starting to feel better about running the ball and JJ having time to throw.:thumb: If we don't control the line when we have the ball, the whole offense will have to move out of town.
Not sure where you are getting your information from, but you're off on your stats according to the two schools websites. They're quite a bit closer in size and weight. (Stats taken from lsusports.net and goducks.com) I know Oregon's is updated, is LSU's? O-Line (I may be off on the starters. Not a lot of info on LSU's projected line-ups that I could find) LSU- Faulk- 6-6 316 Dworaczyk- 6-6 281 Lonergan- 6-4 300 Blackwell- 6-4 300 Hurst- 6-6 324 Avg: 6-5 304.2 Oregon- Weems- 6-5 302 York- 6-5 292 Grasu- 6-3 291 or Stevens- 6-3 305 Cody- 6-5 301 Asper 6-7 325 Avg: w/Grasu: 6-5 302.2 w/Stevens: 6-5 305 D-Line LSU- Adams- 6-5 255 Brockers- 6-6 306 Johnson- 6-3 310 Montgomery- 6-4 245 Avg: 6-4 279 Oregon- Turner- 6-3 273 Keliikipi- 6-21 300 Heimuli- 6-4 321 Hanna- 6-2 240 or Jordan- 6-7 240 Avg: w/Hanna- 6-3 283.5 w/ Jordan- 6-4 283.5 What LSU has the advantage in isn't size, it's experience. Oregon only has 3 returning starters on the O-line, and 1 of the D-line. The projected starters have taken meaningful snaps in the last year, and they're better athletes than the starters from last year, but starting is another animal. Expectation are high, but you never know until they get smashed in the face for the first time!
OK 20 lbs., I still feel better. I saw these guys this weekend and as I stand 6-2 and 305, these guys look pretty big to me. My son is 6-4 and 280 and he looked smaller than the OL and DL. Just sayin.....
