I always wondered why we did not play him in the slot as a possession/check down for our qb. Just someone to get us positive yards on first or second down to loosen up the run. I know he had some drops but it seems we are running 7 or chunking down field. Wish him the best.
This young man is a great example of a football player and if given the chance will be a great asset to the program he chooses.
how can someone expect us to keep a 3rd wr or receiving TE. We had the 108th passing game. Of 128 teams.
The fact that the QB position is never a priority under Miles makes you wonder why any talented WR commits to LSU out of high school.
THIS... Our passing game S-U-C-K-S. Miles has corrected this by retaining Cameron, hiring Craig the recruiter, and not getting a labotomy. Hoping Harris can overcome Miles in his second full year starting. But saying this staff blew it with Quinn is like saying because Bama fans do meth they don't have teeth. There are much deeper problems.
Very true on the first part of your statement. However, the truly great WRs to come through have thrived in the NFL. Bowe, Landry, Beckham, Randle, Lafell off the top of my head. I don't think Quinn has the speed, size, hands or elusiveness needed to succeed in major college football. And if he catches on somewhere and dominates then, sure, LSU's coaches blew it.
That whole national record thing was just a coincidence I'm sure. Also, that 40 time that was faster than Speedy N. The guys you name just happen to be around for the only times we had a commited pocket passer.
