If your a fan of Bama, you lose your heart, because it will be shattered everywhere. And you will be
We plan on it. The biggest difference between us and the Wissies is they beat Michigan 23-20 and we lost to Michigan 23-20 (OT). Iowa leads Wisconsin in total offense, total defense, rushing offense, rushing defense, scoring defense, pass defense, pass offense, and yes, even rushing offense, despite the exploits of Brian Calhoun. Other than the game is at Madison, it's Coach Alverez's last home game, it's Wisconsin's senior day, and we seem to fold late in our games, I like our chances.
Well, the difference is LSU still has not put together 4 quarters of good football in all 3 phases of the game. Not saying they will starting Saturday, but since the season is nearly over, I like my odds of them finishing stronger than they started. Bama is starting to get stung by the injury bug, OTOH, whereas LSU has been and is staying quite healthy this year, a key for any winning team.
Reading this thread made be realize that Penn St won't play for a very, very long time when they play in their bowl game. Could be about a month and a half.
I don't think we need to worry about Miami if  wins out. A win in the SECCG would push LSU! over the Canes with the computers (an uneducated guess). We only need a loss by UT or fUSC. It was said on a local radio show yesterday that a loss by fUSC may not be enough to move them out of the top 2 in the BCS, anyone else heard that?
Yep, six weeks.... and for a guy as old as JoePa, who's probably already stopped buying green bananas... six weeks is a long time.:thumb:
I believe we will need Miami to lose, because Miami is also playing in the ACC Championship game that weekend. Their SOS is will not go down significantly that weekend. It will probably grow at close to the same rate as LSU's because a 2 loss Florida State team is not that much weaker than a 1-loss Georgia team that LSU will play.
