I just got back from a party. Missed the whole first half. Saw the three-and-out to open the 2nd half. OMG, what the hell is going on? Any reason to panic. I know our history with early Pac-10 games in a season, but I didn't really expect to see a 17-13 game. I guess I should be grateful we are ahead.
Actually, a lot of people have been taking about how Locker is as good as Tebow (minus the whole Locker doesn't get to play for a team as super-loaded as Florida). As for myself, I think he looks great. He was a Rivals 100 recruit, just like Tebow in 2006. Neither were in the Rivals Top 25.
UT fan here.... Not a flame- You see now why we were so unhappy with Chavis. For the last few years our stats have been skewed by the fact that 3rd and long KILLED us. Overall our D's stats werent that bad but the situational D and the "mustang" that you will see once you get a 10+ point lead are game killers. With superior talent it can be overcome, Obviously LSU has the better talent tonight but when you are evenly or closely evenly matched in talent, it will be unbearable to watch the D. Look at the offense stats, and the turnovers, and you'll realize you should be very grateful. We've scored 10 offensive points, and penalties and turnovers are why they're losing.
Time to get Sheppard a touch. The play calling is horrible. Scott up the middle.......... and on and on.
