I'm pretty sure one of the students killed was a band member. Maybe our band can place something in their section for him.
I dunno...not too many people liked it when the ND band played Tiger Rag at the Sugar Bowl Who is in charge of setting all this stuff up? I'm sure they would appreciate the ideas.
Some of you are misunderstanding what I said. I didn't say cheer FOR them. I simply said stand up and clap when they come out on the field. No more, no less. Also those of you whining about them chanting over rated...get over it. LSU fans did the same to Florida in 1997, Tennessee in 2000 and any other highly ranked team we have beatin when we weren't a top tier team. Every fan base does this. You people are complaining about things that we ourselves do. We went into that game ranked in the top 10 and got beat like a drum. We deserved the over rated chants.
Agree! I know and all of you know that we would, and HAVE done the same thing. Get over it. Win, and we don't have to worry about that.:thumb:
Because I respect the fact that they are willing to go out and serve to protect everyone in this great country of ours including your pathetic liberal ( l )
I understood, and I agree with you. I won't be at the game, but if I were, I'd do that. Well, maybe not, I don't like how they backed out the game a few years back, but I'd at least not boo. I usually don't boo opposing teams. In general, I dont' like the practice and think it's something that should be reserved for really deserving behavior or teams (bad/biased calls by refs, Auburn) But until this week, I'd have included VT in that category. Out of respect, I'd just keep my mouth shut when they came onto the field. Then I'd cheer till I was hoarse while we kick their ass. Yep. It hurt, but I've done that many a time as a fan in Tiger Stadium (or in my living room). Doesn't mean I don't want to get a little payback, but I think that kind of fan behavior is pretty par for the course.
