Tell me what I did to you that would warrant you saying I need an attitude adjustment. Maybe I took your comment in the wrong context, but I dont think thats grounds to say I need an attitude adjustment. I apologize for misinterpreting what you said. I didnt realize you were from Breaux Bridge. I'm sorry for that one.
\ Ole Grad, I like you even more every day bud. I had my own opinions on what the problem was. I was jut looking to see what others thought. But, obviously I'll never get the approval of the great grad man so I dont even wanna put forth the effort. I forgot that I'm just not good enough for your sports talk standards. This is evident in one of your man threads or posts about how bad I am or my show is. Love ya bud.
Sighhhhhhhh :dis: :dis: Here's what I said: You see, Rich, I was being sarcastic. Smith held Tennessee to zero runs in 7 innings, ergo, a shutout . The bullpen, specifically Meier, gave up four runs, thus losing the shutout, since, you see, Tennessee no longer had zero runs. They now had some runs. The point of the sarcasm was twofold. One, some disgruntled fans may think that LSU is all that and should never allow any runs (which would be a shutout) . Two, These same disgruntled fans would expect to get the elusive shutout, even though the opponent is the leading hitting team in the conference. Now, in a feeble and pathetic attempt to "take me down" (or "call me out"), you point out that a shutout occurs when the losing team scores no runs. For the record, I (and the majority of the english and spanish speaking world) already knew that. Also, what would it be called when the winning team scores no runs? In the words of the immortal W.C. Fields: "Get away kid...you bother me".
Holy crap. I called 2 of 3 and exactly 25 runs on Buddy's show. Who'd a thunk it... I'd have expected like 30-35 total runs after being up 10-0 in the second. What'll I get?
I've said it before -- we need an emoticon for when we are being sarcastic or cynical . . . because it goes right over the heads of many around here.
LSU is on a roll. We just beat a great Tennessee team. I believe in this team. We've got a chance to win the SEC Regular Season Championship. Miss State must be crushed in the jaws of a LSU Tiger victory.
We should never lose a game ... isn't that pretty much your point? Brilliant analysis ... there is only one series left. Nope. In a regional, the first game will be against a weak opponent. Mestepey can handle whomever that may be. In a SR, it doesn't matter. You only need 2 wins ... Dirks and Smith are fine pitching the 2nd and 3rd game. In Omaha, the first game is critical, so I would start Dirks ... unless the old Mesetpey makes a return in the next 3 weeks.
