My computations were wrong for Texas Tech. I did the computation over again...Texas Tech finishes ahead of LSU and so I do not see where LSU gains an .08 advantage in SOS over USC with the K-State win.
Tejas, I need your help. Can you tell me what team Jerry Palm is wedging in between LSU and USC in the SOS polls with the Notre Dame/K-State/Boise St. winning combo scenario?
If you lost your girlfriend, your job and your dog over this you have a great future writing blues or country songs. "My woman just left me, She took my dogs But I don't care cause the Tigers just beat the Hogs, I lost my job, and my brand new car I don't care cause the Tigers gonna win this war I got it so bad, nothin' left to lose. I got dem computer geek Tiger Fan blues"
I feel so lonely baby.....I feel so lonely.....I feel so lonely, I could die P.S. But before I die, I'm gonna watch dem Tigers kick dem Dogs ass
He doesn't specify. What I've posted is what he posts, with no direct explanation given. I'm sure you've taken this into account but just in case: you know that an OU loss is a true opponent loss for Texas Tech since Tech did not play K. State this season. Maybe that's what Palm uses to drop Tech behind LSU in final SoS (?). Dunno.
I did the computation for Tech and Tellshow emailed me back and confirmed that Tech would still be slightly ahead of LSU. He said it would take only one more loss for Tech's opponent's opponents to put Tech behind LSU, but he doesn't see where he is missing that.
YO ISLSTL - figured this would be the best way to get a message to ya - If you're looking for a good spot in Austin to watch the game, Shoal Creek Saloon (at 9th and Lamar) will be jammed wall to wall with Tiger fans. The email distro I was on had about 100 comfirmations alone, and that wasn't even the Austin Alumni group. Come have some beers - most of us are heading over early in the USC game.
no problem - find me if you can - I'll be wearing my usual game day tee that I got my freshman year (1994) - VERY ragged out Geaux Tigers on the back and a bank one logo on the sleeve - my name is Baker...if you don't spot me ask around - someone will know where I am - I'd love to pick your brain - great info and work on this post - I've been able to speak very intelligently to those that bash our chances....I owe you a round.
