Honestly, this sucks. I like Brennan, he waited his turn, and he has played well for the most part this year and didn't really do anything to lose the job. On any given year just a couple years ago we would have sold our souls for either of the QB's that played tonight... I'm torn, but what a position to be in for LSU as well as the fans.. Whole new set of worries... Anyway, not sure I hand the keys over unless the injury keeps Brennan out more than another week... Any longer and you have to keep Finley in there.
I think it sends a message that Curry was not getting all of those garbage time touches on that last drive.
Agree with everything you say about Brennan, but I don't think there's any doubt the offense had a hop in its step tonight that isn't there with MB. Thing to remember is, we haven't faced a top notch defense yet. Not sure we will in Auburn either. Bama may hand us our head no matter who is QB'ing.
