Really? I checked yahoo tv listings yesterday and it says OSU and Penn. I will look at that. I work the late shift, but I will be able to get the first half if it is on.
For Houston area Tiger fans Hey Tiger Fans, 1) The LSU Men's Basketball team takes on Purdue TODAY in the First Round of the NCAA Basketball Tournament. The game should begin around 2:00 PM...it is scheduled to be televised on CBS (Channel 11 here in Houston). However, should CBS preempt hoops coverage with US/Iraq war coverage (as they did yesterday), then the game will end up on ESPN or ESPN2. Here's where it gets interesting -- if you have Direct TV, the ESPN/ESPN2 feed is a NATIONAL feed, which means that it MAY not be the LSU game (but some other game with a more "national feel"). But, if you have cable, the feed is REGIONAL, which means it should be the LSU game here locally. So, the only way to be sure to see the game is to find a local establishment that has purchased the complete "Pay-per-view" NCAA tourney package. 2) The LSU Women's Basketball team begins play in the first round of the NCAAs versus Southwest Texas State TOMORROW nite in Eugene, Oregon. The game will begin around 10:00 PM Houston time and be televised on ESPN2. Check TV listings as the game may end up back on ESPN -- all games are inter 3) The Baseball team is off to Georgia this weekend for a 3-game series in Athens. http://www.lsusports.net/article.cfm?ref=000F1E56-3729-1E7A-B72980D1FBA4FB8F
Above post... The above post was sent to me by someone from the lsuhouston alumni chapter. Still not sure what I'm doing but hopefully it will stay on CBS. Just thought I'd post his e-mail here in case anyone needed it.
Yahoo shows that it will be OSU v Penn, but the Chronicle does in fact have the LSU game listed (and no mention of OSU-Penn). Don't know what that means, but I would take the advice from the Alumni Assoc if you don't want to risk it.
It's official. It's OSU and Penn. I have the Dish Network, so I can't order the tournament package. I guess I'm out of luck.
