I like it
Did they announce this? I thought they weren't announcing til 2pm
It's already past 2 PM on the east coast.
I like it too
It will draw a lot more Tiger fans than Michigan State or God forbid, Northwestern.
Again? Good god, I’m tired of getting them in bowl games. I was hoping for Michigan, or Okie State, or maybe even Stanford. We just played Notre Dame in a Bowl Game 3 years ago. And how come we are the first non top 4 team team to get a bowl?
It's a good matchup and the two teams do have a history. I would like to see LSU play Michigan but I would want the Wolverines to have a better record. Okie State might be OK just because they are another team we have never played. but that would have to be either in the playoffs or a year in which both teams qualified as the conferences Sugar Bowl selection. There is no pathway for a Stanford matchup other than in the playoffs. There are no SEC-PAC 12 bowl tie-ins. I'm happy with the matchup. The Irish are ranked above us so it is a chance to move up higher with a victory.
LSU Michigan State was intriguing but that could have ended up 6-3
Because we missed a field goal? Right.
The ghost of Bradley Dale is alive and well. His ST"s still reak in Baton Rouge.
I'm a little disappointed too. Would have liked to see a Michigan St. or Michigan matchup. We just saw ND 3 years ago.
