My list of top ten LSU matchups I want: Nebraska, Oklahoma, Michigan, USC(west coast version), Florida State, Ohio State, Clempsun, Texas, UCLA, and Oregon of course and besides the point: MOST OF ALL I WANT BAMA!!!!!
LSU vs virtually anyone from the original Big 10. Our most common opponent from that group is Wisconsin, and we've only played them 4 times. Never played Michigan, Northwestern, Purdue or Minnesota, and only played Michigan St. and Illinois once.
I see that the 2020 season opens with USC vs Alabama,.. give the devils there due, those two teams aren't afraid to put it out there
No more than LSU, IMO, though SC does get extra credit for Notre Dame. Few teams have a major out-of-conference power as an annual rival. By the way, Oregon and Oregon St tie as LSU's most common opponent from the original PAC 8, with 4 each. We've never played Cal, Washington St or UCLA (1st time scheduled for 9/4/21 in the Rose Bowl, then 8/31/24 in Tiger Stadium).
