1. First half, D gave up 5 TDS on 5 possessions. Second half, forced two punts a turnover on downs and 2 interceptions, including a game clinching pick 6. Criticism when it’s due, but credit when it’s deserved too.
  2. here’s their drive stats:

  3. 0:34 MIZZOU 32 0:26 5 31 FG MISS
  4. so looks like 271 yds 1st half
    240 2nd
  5. Absolutely. After trailing 22-7 in the 2nd quarter, LSU outscored Mizzou 42-17 the rest of the way. Our offense is elite. Daniels is a warrior. And our defense made enough good plays to seal the victory.
  6. Great win but a lot of issues remain on defense. Get that corrected and they could go a long way

  7. That’s the state of college football today. Defense no longer wins games, it sets up the offense to win. They couldn’t do it last week, got it done today.
  8. Some positives on defense are that they are starting to figure out how best to use Perkins and Maason Smith seems to be returning to form. I hope that they rip Sage Ryan a new one for going for the strip instead of tackling. Especially considering that tacking was supposed to be an emphasis this past week.

  9. Good eye Oddball. Smith playing himself into shape as I figured. Perkins getting more involved. Tell you what Weeks is the real deal. Saw the same thing you saw with Sage. Daniels is Heisman worthy. Nabors and Thomas are fabulous.

However we are very weak at corner and almost as weak at safety. This won't be fixed this year unfortunately. Losing Brooks really hurt us. We simply have to outscore everyone.

    Stay cool Odball

  10. I can’t stand watching this defense, so I mostly don’t.
