No, its not going to happen, but that's because the SEC isn't going to man up and do the right thing for all members; they're just going to continue to blow Bama. My point is, where Bama is concerned, the tradition can be maintained even if the rules made it a little inconvenient. LSU doesn't have that option; its tradition has been pushed aside.

I don't know where else you have to go here.
A tradition of playing at night? This, five years removed from begging the SEC for more night games? That's not maintaining a tradition, it's asking to be treated differently.

In the same period LSU has played five night games in Baton Rouge. Five, versus zero.

The SECN being in the mix now makes an 11 o'clock kickoff necessary. Add CBS to the mix and we're looking at two teams playing in the daytime each week. There's no way around that. However, there needs to be some consideration from teams playing in heat advisory conditions for fans sake. There needs to be a more even handed approach on game times and TV selections when there's this much of a disparity.

Yes, a tradition of playing at night. Since 1931. 1931. That's 88 years of night football. That's tradition.

They could play an additional 8pm kickoff on SEC Alt instead of the 11am. See, there is a way around it.

They already do that on occasion but the point still remains--they aren't going to give up that early game and I'm not suggesting it's scrapped all together. Spread out among the 14 teams to a fairly even degree? That's a different story all together.

The SEC forfeits the argument of fair scheduling with its "inter-divisional rivalry" policy.

I would think an 8 PM game would have better TV ratings than an 11 AM game. At least among non fans of the teams. I don't mind an occasional 2:30 game but leave the 11 AM games to the B1G.

Early as in the season or time? HC should never be earlier than 6:30 kick
