Well what's your point? We beat one today and we caused two others to not have winning records and they may wind up having winning records. A bit too early to say that.
Hard to feel happy or excited at this point. The best I've got is a and of relief which given what O has put us through since '19 just isn't good enough. We didn't create an offensive identity. At least 2 of our touchdowns were busted plays. We essentially got 4 turnovers when you factor in the interception, fumble recovery, missed field goal and the punt penalty and we only score 28 points with 2 busted plays in there for them. The defense did the job much of the way but there was no killer instinct. No batted passes. Didn't look like Andre or O wanted them to get their hands up which blows my mind. Still, the defense played far better than the offense, got jobbed by the refs when they were held all day long, and they were on the field all day. Max has to hit that throw to Bech who did all he could on the play. Deion with two crucial drops, too. These are talented kids but very young. O will be fired above all else because he did not fix the offensive line. It's actually worse. When he took over he said he was gonna fix both lines. He's done great at DL, but allowing Cregg to keep his job knowing he couldn't recruit is a fire able offense. You can't win in the SEC when Bama has Flood, UGA has Pittman/Luke, Arkansas has Pittman and you have Cregg? OU even has Bedenbaugh. What a joke. Good to win, but it wasn't like we held on for a 21 to 3 victory. This was about as unpleasant a win as you can have when they outscore you 22 to 7.. Now you know why no one trusted us to win this game in the pregame. It's beyond justified.
