Not losing AT ALL is impressive. What Miles did was commendable, certainly. In reality, it only amounts to a few reputable teams given the traditional OOC scheduling. Some in bowl wins were admirable, program-wise, anyway.

Granted historically, LSU had played pretty weak OCC schedules, before around 2003. We didn't want the losses, to be honest. So we brought in UAB's and such.

Looking at just the 2011 schedule, LSU beat both the Big East Champs West Virginia, on the road & the PAC 10 Champs #3 Oregon in Cowboy stadium. Plus SEC East Georgia & toss in #2 Bama & #3 R-Kansas. Won the SEC Championship...

Tap, 2011 is outside the window we were speaking of. It ended in 2009 with the Penn St loss, remember?

And if not losing at all is fantasy, no wonder Bama fans are living in a fantasy world.

I asked if you were sitting out/ on th sidelines for the 2010 & 2011 seasons. You mentioned Miles lost so many people in 2009(actually 1-1-10) after the Cap 1 "Pothole" Bowl vs. Penn State.

I was actually still a Miles supporter. I gave up on him after 2014.

Too bad Canada hadn't taken over as OC in preparation of this game. Would have made a ton of sense to have Etling and Guice get acclimated to the new system.

I wonder how long it actually takes to implement a system. I would think it takes a while to get everyone on offense to convert fully. A lot of moving parts and different levels of football intelligence.
