I don't know if you can expect a true freshman QB in his first start, in a bowl game, to play lights out and all world. It was a hard fought game, against a veteran defense, and we got the win. Don't over analyze things too badly on this one.

I know we won and I'm happy about that, but there's some pissed off people that had LSU -7.5. That last TD by Iowa should be erased from the board because of that BULLSHIT review. The ball was clearly out of his hands before his arm started forward. Just once, I'd like to have my cake and eat it too.
It was close but it was clear the arm was moving forward because of the hit and that his hand didn't have control of the ball. Certainly not enough to overturn the call on the field. Big 12 rep for shitty refs lives up.
Never bet on a team you're emotionally tied to. Ever. I'm sorry if you lost money though. It was a terrible call.
