1. (Virginia advances)

Wellbrock still pitching for UH, about to hit 50 pitches

Scivique flies out to center....last 4 hitters have tried to win it on their own

Hale flies out to center, one last chance

Moore drills it right at 1B for the final out

    One more game tomorrow.
  2. 2 outs ....
  3. Who do we have up for pitching tomorrow? Is Nola ready yet?
  4. Nola can't pitch with 1 day's rest. Unless you want to ruin his arm.

Our pitcher from Friday most likely can't even pitch, except for maybe an inning or two (would be like his bullpen session in between starts for a MLBer).

We're most likely going to have to go pitching by committee 2-3 innings at a time.

    Good luck with all that.

  5. I was just looking at the roster, I have no idea who throws tomorrow.
  6. On the bright side, Houston's staff should be in worse shape than ours.
  7. Anybody think Manieri ought to thank his lucky stars he won a championship in 09?

I mean how braindead a decision tonight taking out his version of Greg Maddux pitching a dominating shutout and only 62 pitches thrown. Reminds of ole Bobby stupid fuck Cox.

  8. It was a bit sarcastic ... sorry I didn't make it show more. Man that was like please squeak out a win here ... this is not going to be fun. From about inning 5 on it seemed like every single batter for us was trying to knock it to the fences instead of just getting base hits. Once they caught up that feeling of dread kicked in.
  9. that's a sign of poor coaching and not getting the game plan in the batter's heads

  10. oh I'm normally very defending of CPM, but tonight was retarded as sin. Bouman was on fire and only at 62 pitches ... wtf do you take him out for? McCune getting ripped up ... and you leave him in? SERIOUSLY?
