The movie was filmed on and around the ULL campus mostly. Our football grounds keeper we called Blackjack. He was slightly off but everyone on the football team kinda looked after him. I think the Bobby Boucher character was a little bit based on him.

Did you catch the multiple holds against Carter? I did. And so did the refs who were literally standing there watching but kept that little yellow flag in their pocket. Kirby took the ball out of Stet's hands in the 2nd half. It could have been 60 instead of 50.

I repeat....it's the SEC. It's physical punishment. Every....team....does it. There is no love loss on either side of the ball. LSU players were not saints last night and who would want them to be?

    And FTR.....Tiga>caca.

That tells me they are playing within the rules.

What are the chances the blocked field goal for Georgia score will be on MNF’s “C’mon Man” segment? I’d say close to 100%!

here’s the thing…. my sense of the play was that the dawgs didn’t have good recognition either… the guy had to be told by the sideline to pick it up, or it seemed that way to me from the way the returner was looking over…

Yeah, they could’ve lost yardage depending on where he’d be tackled but when they realized he had a lot of green…

I didn't get the explanation they were giving on the broadcast, sounded like they were saying the ball can not be advanced until it actually stops rolling. I thought once it crossed the l.o.s. it could be advanced any time by the defense, and it only became live for the kicking team if the defense possessed and then fumbled the ball (or if it landed behind the l.o.s. after the block).
