I think FL will put up 27+. Need I say more. Outside chance against A&M, maybe, but I have put my "We Won" flag up for the year.
This is a sad collection of predictions. Stand up, wipe the grass off your asses, and find some positivity. There are games left on our schedule that we can win. I refuse to believe that we will have won our last game of the year in September.
Ha! It's a ballet fundraiser, not an actual ballet. That's what January is for, though. My daughter will be performing in Plano Met Ballet's "Beauty and the Beast" for the first three weekends in January (3 performances each weekend.) She rehearses from 11-3 or 4 every Saturday all fall semester for the January fairy tale ballet. At least, she's committed. Ballet isn't that bad--I'd darn well better tolerate it. Between my two girls, I'm at the studio Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday every week.
Despite my temptation, out of respect for you you I'm not going to ask which role she is playing. I'm sure it must be the Beauty
I admire and respect your loyalty, enthusiasm, and optimism. I just can't share it. People had us penciled into the playoffs after we beat SHSU and ULM. Unfortunately, now that we are into the meat of our schedule, reality has set in. We are not a good football team. Blame it on who you will, but the fact remains, we are not a good football team. I will be cheering as wildly and enthusiastically as I have for 45+ years, but the reality is we will be fortunate to win two more games.
Well, obviously, it's not the Beast (we have a 30-year-old gay dude playing him.) The principal roles all go to the juniors or seniors in the company, so the Beauty is a senior in high school. My 8th grader is a second year member, so she and the other 2nd years are "village shoppers" and the "corps de kitchen" during "Be Our Guest" (she is a plate.) They were all excited last week because all of their costumes have come in.
Unfortunately, I agree with you, but my optimistic streak refuses to believe we suck as badly as we showed last night. Only time will tell, I suppose.
