I hope you're right. I feel good about the game, but the first game under a new coach is always a little nerve-racking. I would love to see Smith and Roy destroy the FSU backfield.
I'm always nervous for a new coach and a prime time game. I think our D front will give FSU problems once they settle in and start hitting. Unless I'm seeing it wrong we have the talent with our front 7 to keep their QB one dimensional. I'm worried about scoring (only because everyone is new) because FSU defense is better than their offense.
What concerns me is the number of new people that will be in the lineup, on both sides of the ball. Obvious talent, but it takes time for individuals to jell into cohesive units.
I almost never bet on LSU games but I may put some money down and lay the 3' cause I think we cover that easily
My biggest concern is winning the trenches. If we can win in the trenches, a lot of things will fall into place. Alabama has been winning primarily due to its dominating OL and DL play and I hope CBK follows that same exact plan. We don't need good OL/DL, we need the elite of the elite OL/DL to challenge for NCs yearly!
