I don't know about starting Latz tomorrow. It's a big gamble and it's not like this is a meaningless mid-week game. I would go with Lange and nail down the W.
I like mainieri bc he doesnt simply look at the numbers. he gets a feel for his players and most of the time hes right. I dont like the latz start but he saw that nasty fucking breaking ball was finding its mark saturday. its a plus curve. and his changeup is a plus plus id imagine which he never threw. so, we need to win 2 and is a risk worth taking. lange will pitch vs florida if we win.
I like it if we win but how many innings will Latz go before Johnny Wholestaff enters the game. Despite some recent good performances i still have litte trust in the bullpen
no way latz goes more than 5 innings/80 pitches unless hes striking out the side most innings. 6 or 7 if hes sandy koufax. Odds are 1 inning is my best bet.
It's not thst they won't give out 4. Moo U, the faggies, Florida and South Carolina are all close to being locks. They are not going to give 5 seed to the SEC
