Man, you know who would be a good fit at LSU? Coach Prime. Yea I went there. Too bad we signed Kelly's retirement plan and have him for the next 9 years.... After Kelly, I am tired of these near AARP member coaches. Sign the young guys to lew year heavy incentivized bonus contracts. I cant stand watching teams without a pulse.
We're all very eager to see now how CBK responds, but the problem is, he could not change a thing in his approach this week and we should still beat Grambling by 50. And still talented enough to just go out there and line up head to head with MSU and Arky and come out with wins. It won't be until Ole Miss that we'll get our next real test.
You know Lame is frothing at the mouth to play against this secondary. Harris needs to get his shit together or the staff needs to get off of his ass. That room needs help.
Emotionally charging your players works right up until you face someone with better talent and coaching. #milesball I suspect Prime is gonna lose more than a few this season. Doesnt mean he isnt a good coach. Just that theres a low ceiling at CO. As for Brady, he was just lookin for a way to get out of Giselles shadow. :/
That’s why I said you need short term contracts with huge upside bonuses. These guys can catch lightning. Oeaux is a prime example. IMO, LSU and it’s deeeeep Southern “culture” is in a good spot with the NIL but you need that type of energy. Kelly is a good coach. Above average, but it’s becoming clear that if his preparation and game plan is off, he has no ability to make in game coaching adjustments. This is clear by all but one of his losses being blow outs. Would love to be wrong. So IMO, unless you are Saban level with day to day grinding, (he isn’t) you need someone players ball for. Kelly doesn’t look like he can run 10 yards without difficulty.
