Thinking....if Maason Smith did an autograph signing today, it would be OK, right? Because the NCAA changed the rule as part of the NIL legislation, right? And that all happened because a judge told them it was illegal to prevent athletes from making money off their own names, right? If all of that is the case, why couldn't they have gotten a court injunction blocking his suspension? I mean, if it should never have been legally against the rules, how can he be legally penalized?
Very interested to see how our OL plays. If it's as good as I think it is our run game will be the difference.
Hopefully the NCAA doesn't know that. They'd rule his suspension doesn't count until it is enforced in a game where he actually would have played.
