i remember that ‘05 App St game. Appy bled every second off the play clock on seemingly every snap. just constantly draining the clock. whole game was over in like 2 and a half hours (felt like 6 days).
I remember that game too. We didn't get pummeled like I thought we would. I heard our team realized they could play a little after that game. It must have stuck because we went on to win 3 natty's in a row and beat Go Blue in the mix. That game was a wake up call for our guys and I am forever grateful to my other school for scheduling us. No one else would back then. Now some won't but for a different reason LOL. Side note, not a big PSU fan but was happy to see them trounce Pitt after we gave that game away week 1.
No, that was the 08 Game. I had tickets but had to cancel the trip because of the storm. Kid lives over there and got to use them. It was hot and we weren't ready that day.08 was not a good year for us, downward trend that got reversed about 4 years ago. Giv'em Hell Apps! Geaux Tigers!
The LSU - Towson power contest is my all time favorite cupcake bashing story. Still disgusts me. AppState fields some pretty good teams normally, They beat Michigan in the big house a dozen or so years ago, and lost in OT this year to Penn State in another away game. A bit out of Towson's league!
